My science fiction film series, Space on Screen is back at Oakland’s New Parkway Theater.

I’ll be sharing three more of my favorite science fiction movies, with live introductions in the OpenSpace open-source planetarium software. On March 21st we’ll explore the science and culture that inspired sci-fi classic Forbidden Planet, and its influence since.

Thanks to the New Parkway Theater for inviting me back! I started going to the New Parkway for Mystery Mystery Science Theater 3000 11 years ago, and it’s so much fun to share my favorite science fiction movies in my favorite movie theater in the Bay Area.
